Time Train

What better way to stay connected with friends and family then seeing everyday and knowing when to celebrate them? Even if meeting  face to face on daily basis might be a bit of a challenge, we have created a way to stay close when far. We made the Time Train. The train that travels through the year and reminds us to honor people dear to our hearts.

For my son this is a lesson of connection, a lesson of how important relationships are, how they need constant investment to be kept alive and sparkling, a lesson of altruism. It’s a time travel as we see the pictures and we talk about past events, we bring back to life lovely memories.

The Time Train is also a helpful tool to learn the concept of an year, the months and the seasons.

Using colorful construction paper, glue, scissors and pictures, we made the following:

My son really love it looks at each wagon every single day. We sing train related songs too.

Thank you friends and family for being such an important part of our life!
